How do I keep my skin golden tan all year?!

I am a self tanning fanatic and know all the tips and tricks to score an all over even tan! I do this routine about once a week TO maintain my color.

STEP 1: I start by using the Frank Body Coffee Scrub all over my body to exfoliate and remove any remnants of my previous tan and to remove dead skin. 

STEP 2: Shave legs, underarms, etc.

STEP 3: I lather my entire body in coconut oil to moisturize and prep the skin for the self tanner. Make sure to really moisture your hands, feet, ankles, knees, and elbows. Let this sink in so you are not oily to the touch.

STEP 4: Next take your double-sided tanning mitt and squirt a few pumps of the tanning mousse onto the mitt. I love the St. Moriz Instant Self-Tanning Mousse in the dark shade. When applying, I break up the body into sections, and apply in circular motions. I start from my legs and work my way up.

*Tip: I highly recommend using a mitt for application to ensure an even natural looking tan and prevent your hands being stained.

*Tip: Stand in front of the mirror when applying the product to make sure you don't miss any spots. 

*Tip: When applying the product to the hands & feet, use the remnants of the mousse that is left on the mitt and gently got over the back of the hand and tops of the feet so they are lightly covered.

STEP 5: Let it dry for about 10-15 minutes before putting clothes on. I like to sleep with it on to develop the tan over night. I wear a long sleeve t-shirt and sweat pants so I don't get any of it on my sheets. 

STEP 6: The next morning I will take a shower to wash off the "guide color." 

STEP 7: To help your tan last longer, stay moisturized!! I like to use the Hemp Gradual Tanning Lotion to extend my tan.
