TRANSITION FROM WINTER TO SPRING

TRANSITION FROM WINTER TO SPRING

Even with the bipolar weather on the East coast, spring is coming soon! Spring is my favorite season because winter is over, the weather is warmer and summer comes soon after.  Some of winter’s essentials can actually convert quite nicely into your springtime wardrobe. Sharing a few tips at the end to help you transition your winter wardrobe for spring!

1) Keep booties handy

Booties are not just for cold weather, rock them all year with skirts, dresses and shorts! It’s the perfect shoe to keep your feet warm but light enough to keep you running around in the sun. Another fave are mules! Similar to booties, mules are versatile and comfortable, easily pairing well with any type of bottom.

2) Layer

Layering will be your best friend! We all know in the morning it can be chilly and by the afternoon it warms up. Layering is a great way to be prepared no matter what the weather is. Keep your jackets, cardigans, and blazers on hand for an effortless layering piece.

3) Experiment with color

An easy way to transition into spring is by adding color! If you’re going to play around with color, try sticking to just one feature piece in your ensemble. For example, if you opt for colorful pants, keep your top on the neutral side.

4) Accessorize

You can transform any outfit from winter to spring with the right accessory. Fun tassel earrings,  paired with your favorite sweater turns a winter basic into spring! If you are hesitant to wear color, accessories are great place to start! Sunglasses, shoes, hats, bags, scarves – these all come into play.
