SMOOTHIE BOWL?! YES PLEASE!
The way over due blog post is finally up on how I make my smoothie bowls! I literally make this for breakfast every morning! I wake up and crave these babies! I love starting my morning with these because they are healthy, filled with tons of vitamins + minerals, and fill me up while not making me feel overly full. All of the ingredients in this smoothie are packed with such amazing health benefits! I will link the benefits on to some of them for you to be amazed!
As you may know, for the whole month of August I am participating in the Frank Body, 30 Day Go Natural Challenge! For the entire month, the challenge is to take on a natural approach for all areas of your life, with a key focus on beauty and wellness. In order to radiate on the outside you must take care of the body on the inside too! Eating a plant based diet is a sure way to feel good on the inside and look great on the outside! This smoothie bowl recipe will have you feeling energized and ready to take on the day!
- 1 frozen banana
- handful of frozen fruit
- huge handful of spinach or kale
- handful of fresh fruit
* I do not add any liquid to keep the smoothie thick.
* To help the smoothie blend easier put the fresh fruit & spinach closest to the blade.
- fresh fruit of choice (my faves: strawberries, blueberries, kiwi)
- mixed nuts/seeds
- dried cranberries
- drizzle of almond butter
